Rental Terms

All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or vehicle pickup. This document outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance provisions, charges, and your responsibilities related to the rental. In the event of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

Booking and Payment Process

The remaining balance and a security deposit are usually required at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are stated in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through established payment providers.

4. Car Pickup and Drop-off

A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed for both parties' records. 5. Insurance and Responsibility

Additional insurance options may be available, offering ways to lower your financial liability. Review these options thoroughly. You remain liable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess, unless additional coverage is purchased. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, regardless of insurance.

6. Modifications and Cancellations

Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the booking type and the notice period provided. For precise details, consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.

7. Restricted Activities

Prohibited Uses of the Vehicle

• Use of the vehicle for any illegal activities is prohibited. This includes racing, rallying, off-road driving, or engaging in any dangerous behavior. Transporting hazardous materials is strictly forbidden. Sub-letting to others or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. The vehicle should not be used for purposes it was not intended for, and exceeding passenger or weight limits is prohibited. Driving beyond the agreed geographical boundaries without prior permission is also against our terms.

Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and fees.

Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent allowed under English and Welsh law, Car Hire in Birkenhead is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the total amount you paid for the rental in the past 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
